Vice-president of CQU for Services, a professor. Mr.Zhang was born in April, 1955, and he got his degrees of Bachelor and Master respectively in January, 1982 and in June, 1987 at Chongqing Jianzhu University . Mr.Zhang now is also a consultant of the CQ S&T Consultant Group, Deputy Director of CQ Construction S&T Commission, Deputy Director of CQ Civil Construction Society, a member of China Civil Engineering Society and so on. Mr.Zhang was Assistant Dean and Vice-dean of College of Architecture Engineering of Chongqing Jianzhu University, Assistant President and Vice-president of Chongqing Jianzhu University before.

Prof. Zhang has been engaged in teaching and scientific research for a long time, and has supervised several postgraduates. He has accomplished many influential projects and published over 30 papers. Mr. Zhang has conducted many projects concerning engineering design and engineering consultation, and won a 1 st prize of S&T Progress Award of Ministry of Construction, a 2 nd prize and a 3 rd prize of CQ S&T Progress Award.

Bearing Capacity and Construction of Large-Diameter Bored Piles Embedded Rock (It won a 2 nd prize of CQ S&T Progress Award.)

Sub-project of: National Criterion of Building Pile Foundation Technique: Strength Testing of Pile Foundation under Multiaxial Loading Conditions (It won a 1 st prize of S$T Progress Award of Ministry of Construction.)

Sino-British cooperating project: Aspects of Foundation Failure in Residential Development in the P.R China (He was in charge of affairs of the project in China .)

The State S&T major project: Danger of Flood and Wind Disaster and Countermeasures

Prof. Zhang has gained the fame of An Excellent Master with Outstanding Contribution in China , which was awarded by Education Commission, Sichuan Province , and of Excellent Young Scholar with Outstanding Contribution which was awarded by Ministry of Construction.
