Rules of Conduct
  • Study hard and complete all assignments;
  • Observe university regulations;
  • Show respect for faculty members and staff;
  • Respect your fellow students and cultivate friendship;
  • Pay attention to hygiene and physical exercises.
  • Obey the laws and regulations of the Chinese government;
  • Respect Chinese social customs and habits.
Provisional Rules and Regulations
  • In principle, the provisional rules and regulations are drawn in accordance with the rules for Chinese students studying in Chongqing University and other related rules.
Registration
  • New students should register at the International Student Office (ISO), Chongqing University within the fixed period of time. For registration, students should submit the Admission Notice, passport, and JW201 Form or JW202 Form.
  • Students are required to attend the orientation which will give general information about CQU and its rules, regulations and procedures.
  • Self-financed students pay their fees in full at the time of registration. Students must pay cash either in Chinese RMB or in US dollars, (the exchange rate is US$1.00:8:30RMB yuan).
  • Students are assigned rooms with basic facilities. The students should sign on the checklist after moving in.
  • Students who study over three months should go through the medical examination within the fixed period of time at the designated hospital. Those who have health certificate should have it reconfirmed with CQ Health and Quarantine Bureau. Those whose health certificate does not accord with the demands must undergo a further examination. A student whose health does not meet the requirements of the examination must leave China at once and pay for his/her own transportation home.
  • Returning students must register at the International Student Office within the predefined period according to the university timetable each term. Students who cannot return on time must ask for permission in advance.
